Desirable pre-WWII Luger, with 1939 dated chamber with the "S/42" code for the Mauser factory on the toggle. The barrel extension has the late "Eagle/65" Waffenamt proofs and "Eagle/Swastika" firing proof, the later also appear on the right side of the barrel and the left side of the breechblock. A smaller "Eagle/63" is on the upper right rear of the barrel. The Luger has standard military serial number placement on the major parts with the last two digits of the serial number on the various small parts. It has the standard "GESICHERT and GELADEN" safety and extractor markings, respectively.
